Donald Yatomi graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BFA in Painting in 1992, then went on to attend the Art center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He received a second BFA in Illustration with distinction in 1996.

He is proficient in perspective drawings, concept sketches, orthographic/isometric line drawings, lighting/color keys, traditional/digital paintings, and screen capture paint-overs.  His greatest inspirations come from all forms of military equipment and most larger-than-life themes such as Noah’s Ark, skyscrapers and space shuttle platforms.

Donald currently lives in Bend Oregon with a wonderful wife and four children.  In his spare time, he paints in oil for three fine art galleries in three different states.
